- I am a 23 year old woman from the Southern United States. I have been in recovery for one year...and..its tough. Very tough. I went from feeling as if I knew exactly who I was..to being thrown into this emotional state, where it feels like I am a prepubescent girl in middle school, awkward, unsure of herself, and idenityless. However, I am learning, growing, surviving..and getting stronger every moment.
